I was confused as to why my fan was not turning on at 50 degrees. since I was getting a temp readout, I assumed the thermistor was working. I figured it must be the config file. I edited both M106 entries in my config file to: M106 P1 H1 T50, meaning Hot End Fan (P1), Heater 1 (H1), Trigger Temperature 50 (T50).

Considering this isn’t the first time I’ve updated the config file to keep it matched with the guide, I’m assuming I may have an older version of the file, or one that wasn’t updated for the D300VS.

If you oriented the wires correctly, but they still move down instead of up, edit the following lines on the config file: M569 P0 S1 to M569 P0 S0, M569 P1 S1 to M569 P1 S0, and M569 P2 S1 to M569 P2 S0. So, change S1 to S0 to reverse directions.
