Per comments by mhackney on slack channel, 3 binder clips is preferred.
Lube the bearings with 3 in one oil or ptfe lube. Do the same with the other bearings in the kit.

Check Michael's blog post for nozzle height adjustment: http://www.sublimelayers.com/2017/05/fdf...
I wish I left more than 1/2". I have had the belt slip out of the zip ties on me. leaving 3/4 to 1" allows two zip ties for extra security.
At this point, go and check that every fastener is tightened properly. Loose fasteners will lead to failed prints and lots of head scratching. I had a few loose in the frame corners as well as a few magballs that could use some snugging.
Also check for rocking of the carriage (try to rotate it about the column). If so, check the tightness of the bolst/nuts holding holding the wheels.
I didn't have mine tightened enough. It caused a lot of head scratching when trying to figure out inconsistent prints. In the step where the carriages are mounted to the uprights later in the build, make sure there isn't any rocking play of the carriage.
Check http://forum.ultibots.com/viewtopic.php?... for the problem and fix. I'm going with 2 m4 washers stacked to space for now.
Connect would be a better verb than "clip" for the thermistor connector wires. On the tiny pic in the printout it looked like you wanted us to clip the wires and solder/heat shrink a connection...
